Syllabus for Written Test of BANK OF BARODA TO BE HELD IN JANUARY2010

Written test will be Objective & Descriptive
i) Objective Tests (120 Minutes, 200 Questions, 300 Marks):
1. Test of Reasoning Ability (100 Questions, 150 Marks)
2. Test of Quantitative Aptitude (50 Questions, 75 Marks)
3. Test of General Awareness on current developments (50 Questions, 75 Marks)
Candidates have to secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the objective test i.e. 40% for General Category (35% in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD) and 50% marks in all the objective test taken together for General Category (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD).
Negative Marks: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
ii) Descriptive Tests (60 Minutes, 5 Questions, 100 Marks):
Higher order cognitive abilities to assess knowledge on current developments and communication skills. There will be 5 compulsory questions with internal options for 100 marks
Note: The minimum qualifying marks in the descriptive test shall be 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC / PWD candidates) and the Marks so obtained shall be added to the marks obtained in the Objective Test, for preparing merit list. The descriptive papers will be assessed only of those candidates who qualify in all the objective tests and also rank sufficiently high.
iii) Interview (100 Marks)
Maximum marks for interview will be 100. Minimum qualifying marks in interview are 50% for General Category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD category.
